In February 2008 Capilano Labonté Inc. became a wholly owned subsidiary of Capilano Honey Limited. The name will be changed to Capilano Canada Inc and it will continue to sell honey for retail and industrial uses in Canada to meet Canadian customer requirements. 
In 2003 Capilano entered into a joint venture with HoneyMax in Argentina to develop a world class honey processing facility capable of supplying quality controlled honey direct to international industrial customers.
