Following legislative change which caused the closure of Capilano’s Exempt Stock Market in February 2004, Capilano Honey Limited (CHL) listed on the Bendigo Stock Exchange (BSX) to facilitate share trading.
Members of the public and shareholders wishing to acquire or trade shares in CHL are now required to do so through the BSX.
The restructure of Capilano’s share trading aims to achieve the following objectives:
- Encourage continued supply of honey to CHL by providing a structure which ensures control is retained by Supplier Shareholders; and
- Providing an opportunity for improved marketability of CHL Shares by making them available for purchase by the public.
