Kiwifruit Smoothie

Serves: 2


Ingredients:

2 ripe Kiwifruit peeled and sliced
1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
3/4  cup low fat milk
2 tablespoons CAPILANO honey

Method:

Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend  in 15 second bursts until just combined. Pour into glasses.

Notes:

Using ripe Kiwifruit will make a sweet smoothie while hard under ripe Kiwifruit will leave a bitter aftertaste.
This recipe is best made straight before serving.
It is important to not overblend to the point where the kiwi seeds break up as these can be unpleasant if stuck in teeth.
Add a banana, sliced honeydew melon or pineapple or a combination of these for a tropical treat.
The vanilla ice cream can also be substituted with passionfruit frozen yoghurt.
