Banana Smoothie

Serves: 2


Ingredients:

3 frozen bananas
250 grams plain/greek/soy yoghurt
1 cup low fat dairy/soy milk
2 tablespoons CAPILANO Honey & Ginger

Method:

Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend on high until thick and frothy. Serve in tall glasses.


Notes:

• High in calcium.
• High in potassium.
Peel bananas and freeze in a plastic container. Use from freezer as needed. This makes smoothies icy cold and thick without the use of ice which can dull the taste.
• Any leftovers can be placed in kids ice block moulds and frozen for a healthy kids treat on a hot day.
• Add a weet-bix to blender to make a complete liquid breakfast.
• Can be dairy free with the use of soy milk and soy yoghurt. Soy milk/yoghurt goes really well with the banana and ginger honey. It has a great nutty taste.
